Someone needs anger management classes

Seriously, I've never seen a seagull get mad when someone is close by.  It seems typically they are the happy go lucky type personalities and just meander walking around on the pavement with a few squawks here and there.  Not for me today, as soon as I sat down on the picnic table they flew in and immediately started squawking at me.  They seemed angry and gave me an ear full as they carried on for quite some time.....I think I was sitting at their picnic table and they were not happy about that!  Perhaps they wanted food but I just sat there and listened to them and it seemed that they got even more mad.   I have that effect on people.  Who would of thought....

The only way to entertain some folks is to listen to them.

Three little baby birdies

I found these little fuzzy baby birdie balls... so sweet... so young... in a nest on a ledge in front of the house. It is amazing how big their toe nails are (see the last photo, looking to the left... with the big toe nail sticking out of the nest)!

Did you know that babies are nauseated by the smell of a clean shirt?

Sherbet... yummy

So vivid and oh so beautiful.  To think that I almost missed this awesome sunset if I had not poked my head out the front door to check on something.  So of course, I had to run back inside to get the camera for my CSD moment.  So sherbert like and oh so yummy!

Seagull Toed...

You have heard of Pigeon toed, right?  Well, this little blog CSD moment is about the Seagull toed...

The last day of my vacation I took a stroll down the beach and ran into a group of seagulls hanging out enjoying the morning sunrise.  I though it would be a good photo opportunity.

It seems like my picture adventures always seem to turn into something else. I seem to stumble on things beyond my first attempts.  After I took my first snap shot, I ventured closer taking my chances that they would not fly away.  I was pleasantly surprised as I got closer, I started to see huge amounts of seagull foot prints in the sand.  It was like 3D-art style to me!  It looked like a cool print almost leaf like in shape.  It was new to me as I've never really seen anything quite like it.  The morning dew must of made the sand moist enough to hold the cool foot print shape and the human traffic had not been around to ruin it.   I was so excited to discover something new but had no one to share it with.  So now, I am sharing it with you!

Enjoying the early morning perks...

So this was one of the first vacations where I did not have to get up at the crack of dawn in order to secure a chaise lounge to lay on for the entire day.  There were ample amounts to choose from even up to ten o'clock.

On previous vacations, in order to claim temporary property on my chaise lounge for the day, there is usually a little bit of work .  Typically at any of the hotel/resorts that I have stayed at in Mexico, I have to wake up earlier than I normally would at home so that I can rush down to the pool or beach, tie my beach towel on the chair and throw my flip flops on top of the towel.  The other grueling task if you are staying at a all-inclusive resort is that they typically make you sign up in the morning with your restaurant of choice for that evening in order to make sure you are eating at a fancier "on site restaurant" verses the "hotel buffet."  You must make damn sure that you don't hit the snooze button in order to make the reservation list!  I know, it sounds like I am talking crazy talk, but it is the truth I tell you!  Resorts should promote a new marketing idea...."come to our resort where you can be assured you'll have a wonderful meal and a relaxing seat on the beach without out the stress of having to reserve it in advance....we'll do it for you!  With this vacation perk promotion.... you get to sleep in on your vacation!"

The fact that I did not have to rise early for all this hoopla and actually got to sleep in on my vacation this time around was a new concept for me!  So the drawback of not having to arm wrestle someone for a morning chair was a small shock to my system and secondly, being able to sleep in meant that I missed a lot of beautiful early morning sunrises!

So on my last day of vacation, I was awake fairly early as the hotel bed was giving me a backache.  The whole week the bed was comfortable so this must of been a sign of destiny to make me rise for the occasion.  Instead of just laying there in pain, I decided to get up and check out what was going on down at the beach.  I am so glad I did as someone was enjoying the sunrise without me! I almost missed this amazing *CSD moment with my camera as it was cold enough in our room with the air conditoner running that when I brought the camera outside to take a picture, the lens would not "defog". Eventually it did and I was able to capture this moment. I really did not see this gentleman enjoying the sunset until I zoomed in. I kind of felt like a eavesdropper on his moment of enjoyment, but heck, it was totally worth it. LOL

This shot was taken from the Fusion Hotel in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico.

Peaceful and Serenity

This image of a sunrise was unbelievably striking with the fog floating in the air.  An immediate CSD moment, I am glad that I got up early enough to see it and catch it's beauty.  The fog just gives it such a dramatic feel.   I have to admit that I feel an intense peace in the earth with this photo opportunity.  Makes me want to say A-MEN!

BOTTOMS UP

Lady Lizzie bug is having a party at her place....I dropped in for some snapshots of their bottoms up event.  They were really busy and ignored me....can you say stuck up?  However they look really happy as I think that they have hit the jackpot and are all sharing the loot!  I love the red against the yellow.  I think that these are some of my favorite snapsnots.... I could not decide which one to post so I posted them all!  ...enjoy the party :)
